Job Description:
 To coordinate and Look after the Technical management of all the
activities and implementation for
Survey and Exploration work
developing Net Work Program to monitor and maintain parity and
standard of detail Exploration Activities with all Teams working in the
Project as the Project Manager..
 To Carry out systematic Geological Mapping with special emphasis on
structure and mode of occurrence & mineralization, particularly with the
discovery of the Gold , Multi Metals deposits and Diamond bearing
Kimberlitic if any and placers including the diamond bearing Gravel beds;
 Compilation and integration of all kinds of basic & exploration data
generated by Team and their interpretation & development of database.
 Update & Preparation of all surface and sub surface data and feed in
computer program for fine tuning and Final Interpretation of 2 D and 3 D
data.
 Close monitoring and supervision of litho logging and sampling work
following same yardsticks by all Teams, & monitoring the cost cutting
exercises in overall exploration.
 Digital data interpretation using Remote Sensing & image processing
techniques from time to time for application on to exploration and
assessment and Presentation to the Management and the concerned Govt.
Authority ( in a different format).
 Preparation & monitoring the database for 3D modeling of ore body in
collaboration with the Geo-Scientists and Engineers of the Team.
 Monitoring the Borehole planning, multi parameter logging of drill core,
correlations resource estimation and the ore reserves calculation.
 Participation in weekly review meeting & share the data interpretation;
Submission of monthly progress Reports reports to the Management.
 Conducting
Environment Impact study while taking necessary
Precautionary steps to Conduct the work keeping within the prescribes limit
of the Land use and on the spot study and assessment of Crop damage
due to exploration & mining activities, and implementation of Rehabilitation
and Resettlement of the locals affected in close cooperation with the State
Authority and the Dodsal Management.
 Draw Valuation of all activities performed and result achieved with respect
to time involved and the financial implications.
 Preparation of Mandatory, Periodic Progress Reports highlighting the
Achievements & Target completion wherever applicable including
The expenditure incurred for the activities for submission to the Govt.
Departments (Signed by Authorized Signatories).

To Organise Outsourcing of Bankable Feasibility Report(BFR) on
the mining, treatment and extraction Flow Sheet of the Mined ore.

Mandatory meeting with the Govt. Representative from time to time
To obtain sanctions & permission as & when necessary related to
Mining work including storage of the gold produced during
Prospection activities.
RSI / GIS SR. GEOLOGIST – Dar es Salaam
Experience – 10 years of Remote Sensing - Data Interpretation, Image
Processing and GIS Applications for Geological and Geophysical Survey,
Exploration and Mining Implementation.
JOB PROFILE:
 Documentation and updating all kinds of the remote sensing towards inputs
into prospecting for gem stones & diamond.
 Integration of the R.S. Data followed by the ground truth verification in
addition to field investigations along with the Team Members.
 Responsible for delineation & generation of the necessary useful data from
the study and interpretation of Satellite Remote Sensing, Image Processing,
Hyper spectral Remote sensing for the generation of the mineral-alteration
map on ground, and computation of the spectral geology.
 Correlation of the trend sets of the centers of heavy –index mineral
concentrations along with the Lineaments identified from the satellite data
and location on ground for interpretation of the Paleo-fluvial directions (rivers
and fluvial-glaciers) from higher to lower relief.
 Image processing and remote sensing data processing from time to time on
different scales to assist the exploration activities.
 Perform any other assignment related to the exploration & mining as and
when required.
OPERTATION MANAGER - Mining Project Site
EXPERIENCE: 15 YEARS ON MINERAL EXPLORATION, PROJECT
MANAGEMENT FOR GOLD, DIAMOND, MULTI METALS, COMPUTER
APPLICATIONS & EHS* MANAGEMENT.
Project Planning & Execution while Heading the Operation on Project Site.




Handling end to end project management from assessing feasibility to planning
& monitoring on-site activities and final execution of mining (development &
operations) projects and reporting to the Project Manager (at Dar).
Conducting project review meetings for evaluating project progress in
coordination with the management and taking adequate corrective actions if
required.
Planning & exploring Project Development and implementation of detailed
prospection in stages:
Performing Pre Feasibility & Feasibility Study and handling reserve estimation /
resource potential.
Exploration Operations

Formulating and establishing exploration plans and strategies for ensuring
completion of exploration assignments as per plan and time frame:
- Exploration data integration, analysis, data interpretation and management.
- Detailed exploration, mapping and analysis.
- Maintaining MIS (Management Information System) and other documentation
pertaining to exploration works.

Coordinating with the mining division for mine development, and quality

Process Improvement


Designing and implementing policies, guidelines and procedures to establish &
maintain high quality standards in environment, occupational health and safety
in compliance with laws & rules.
Imparting in-house training to subordinates & blasting crew for enhancing the
process operations.


Draw comparison from time to time the standard and Quality of the Data
generation & acquisition at par with the International practices and introduce
means to improve upon and maintain the quality and standard.
Conduct review meeting analyzing the Progress achieved towards the
Fulfillment of the assigned targets.
Identification and calculation of the stripping ratios and accordingly Preparation
of the mine plan using Computer program ( Data Mine,/Gemcom) and update
along with the progress of the target achievement .
 R & D work in relation to selection of Heavy Earth Moving Machineries in
relation to Mining & Extraction Metallurgy.
 Cost calculation for Rock Blasting & Blast Hole drilling & detonator
requirement.
 Organising Bulk Sampling for BFR and Extraction Flow Sheet studies.
 Organising Subcontract for Diamond drilling and R.C. drilling in the Projects
much in advance and shortlist the agencies for the contract jobs with the
assistance of the support services group.

Projects; Collection of basic field data, including regional traverses marking
lithological contacts, alteration zones, structural features, geomorphic gradients
and detail Geological & Geochemical Mapping and surface sampling such as
stream sediments , heavy minerals concentrates, channel sampling .
Job Profile:
 Preparation of all basic data and collaborate data generated by other
discipline for 3D model.
 Detail multi parameter borehole core logging and drawing split samples in
consultation with the team leader & preparation for analysis.
 Study and establish the mode of occurrence of the ore body.
 Mining Geology guidance to mining production.
 Identify the by-product, value addition ore minerals in the mined ores &
tailings and bring to the notice of the team leader.
 Work for Data Base using geo-software program for interpretation.
 Develop skill in the field of Remote Sensing, LANDSAT-image processing.

Sr GEOPHYSICIST- Mining Project Site
Experience – 10-15 years
Job Profile
Providing expertise for planning exploration strategy for long term implementation
of exploration program. Evaluation and selection of potential areas for ground and
airborne (hellebore and fixed wing) geophysical surveys. Formulating yearly
exploration programmed, budget estimation, manpower allocation and monitoring
the work progress. Time to time technical appraisal
(presentations) to the
highest decision making board of the organization. As a geophysicist provides full
range of Geological and Geophysical assistance to the mineral exploration
programmed which include the following:
 Prospect Evaluation
Providing expertise in integration and interpretation of Geological and
Geophysical data for evaluation and generation of mineral deposit
prospects. Integration of all forms of Geological data (i.e., surface maps,
satellite images etc.), airborne and ground Geophysical data (i.e.,
Electromagnetic, magnetic, Gravity, Radiometric, resistivity and IP etc.) to
render a complete Geosciences perspective to prospect evaluation and
drilling recommendations.
 Data interpretation
Provided a fully integrated geological and geophysical approach or mineral
exploration interpretation. Developed expertise in Geophysical interpretation
in complex Geological provinces.
 Data processing
Leading and supervising ground airborne (hellebore and fixed wing)
electromagnetic (time and frequency domain), Magnetic, Radiometric data

Assessment of the depth factor of the persistence of the mineralization/ore
horizons as a complementary parameter for mine planning.
SURVEYOR- Mining Project Site
Experience – 10 years
 Responsible for coordinating the team to provide surveying service to open
pit including the following duty and responsibility.
 Working in Mining production, Exploration and Surveying Role.
 Ore mark ups, face pickups, establish and maintain survey control, perform
end of month reporting and perform calculation of volume, establishing
temporary bench mark, set out pit design pegs (ramps, crest, lines, and
brumes) provide working design plans and undertake short & long term
planning specific to survey.
 Maintain up to date survey and survey control. Good planning and
organizational skill.
 Compile section budgets and develop forecast.
 Ensure that survey requirements are prioritized within the department and
target are met.
 Attend daily production meeting with staff and contractor.
 Provide survey data according to the Mining plan and schedule.
 Carry out Project work and supervise, monitor and training to the staff.
 Over see end of period report for reconciliation against the mine plan
forecast the budget.
 Lassoing across numerous departments including Geology, Mining and
senior management.
 Co-ordinate survey team to work alongside consultants and contractors to

MINING ENGINEER- Mining Project Site
EXPERIENCE: 10 YEARS; EXPERIENCE IN METALS MINING
 Responsibility of total Mining Activity in all projects.
 Decision making on the selection of Mining Method, based on the mode of
occurrence and geometry of ore bodies and over burden established by
Exploration,
 Plan and Implement below activities with the assistance of team consisting
of Operations in charge, project coordinator, Mines Surveyor etc:
1. Planning and Designing of both Opencast & Underground mines
2. Optimization of stripping ratio for Opencast Mines,
3. Planning and Designing of blast hole drilling & blasting,
4. Planning and Management of Ore and Waste dumps
5. Optimization of Explosive consumption,
6. Obtaining Explosive Magazine License and guiding the civil Engineer
while construction of Explosives Magazine.

AND SETTING UP LABS.
 Responsible for all kinds of chemical analysis of rock, mineral, metal, soil,
water, plant and rest of all the Geological Matrix,
 Setting of laboratory, handling computerized lab equipment and standards
Also responsible for conventional wet chemistry of analysis including AAS,
XRF, Fire Assay assemblies.
 De salivation of water and chemical cleaning of RO membrane,

Gold & Multi Minerals analysis by Fire Assay Method and production of
Gold from the ore supplied ,
 In charge of R& D laboratory & analysis of environmental constituents for
our requirement & for statutory purposes ,
 Scoping and pre – feasibility engineering studies , process technology
development plant operations and management,
 Analytical and metallurgical lab , QA/QC ,
 Crushing, grinding, classification, gravity Separation, Thickening, CIL, CLP
