Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) NAD 101 (Certificate)

It is required for students who are interested in either the LPN or RN Programs to attend an

Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.)
Application Deadline: April 1st

Students who take MTH 096A can
take MTH 093/094 and go into any of
these health areas.
The following are general requirements for the LPN Program:
 MTH 096S or MTH 094 (MTH 095)
 CHM 110 General, Organic & Biochemistry [CHM 099-optional, MTH 096S or MTH 094 is the
prerequisite] (CHM 100 or 101)
 BIO 100 or BIO 103
Prerequisite Courses (these courses must be completed prior to applying for the program)
 C.N.A. [NAD 101 or proof of current C.N.A. certification]
 BIO 185 [College Chemistry and College Biology are prerequisites]
Supporting Courses (these courses can be taken during the LPN Program)

Registered Nurse (R.N.) (Associate of Applied Science Degree)
Application Deadlines: March 15th and October 1st
The following are general requirements for the R.N. Program:
 MTH 096S or MTH 094 Intermediate Algebra or ACT Math score of 18 or above w/ one year HS
Algebra w/ grade of C or higher (within last 5 years) (MTH 095)
 CHM 110 General, Organic & Biochemistry [CHM 099-optional, MTH 096S or 094 is the
prerequisite] (CHM 100 or 101)
 BIO 100 or BIO 103
