Two Lakh Prize Money To, All school, club ,institute associate and unassociated units of all district Adm ,HSSO Sir, SUB: Pune Mayors Trophy 2014- invitation-Reg We draw kind attention of all the members of MAA and inviting your team to participate in the Maharashtra State Sub Junior Athletic Competition 2014 at Shree Shiv Chatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune and Baburao Sanas Stadium,Sarasbaug,Pune . We, on behalf of the PDAA once again with immense pleasure extend cordial invitation to you to participate in the Pune Mayors Trophy 2014. The details of the championships are given below 1. Championship 2. Dates : Pune Mayors Trophy 2014 : 26thDec. opening ceremony (Sanas Ground) 26th & 28th Dec. Boys/Girls under 6,8,10 (Sanas Ground) 29th & 30th Boys/Girls under 12,14 (Balewadi Stadium) 30th Dec. Prize distribution (Balewadi Stadium) 3. : Baburao Sanas Stadium,Pune And Shiv Chatrapati Sports Complex Balewadi,Pune Venue 4 Total Cash Price : 1 lakh for Girls. 1 lakh for Boys. 5 Climate : The climate will be very pleasant and cool at this time 6 Entries : The entries should be sent in this format circulated by MAA on or before 20 /12/2014 to the Secretary ,MAA an a copy of the same should be send to the organizing secretary and general secretary PDAAA 7 Train Route : Pune is well connected by trains from all parts of the country. The teams have to get down at Pune railway station. 8 Reception Counter : The counter will be arranged near clock tower on the east side of the railway station i.e; outside of platform no 1 and buses are arranged to reach accommodation places. 8. Railway Reservations: ST/Railway reservations of your teams of to and fro journeys shall made at your end only. 9. Accommodation : Unfurnished accommodation will be provided to the athletes and hostel accommodation for the officials. Participants are advised to bring their own Bedding. 10. Age verification : MAA age verification committee and MAA Medical team will be in action to check the ages of the athletes. 11. Meeting : The meeting of the managers and coaches will be held at Sanas Ground th stadium on 26 December,2014 at 11am. COMPETITION INFORMATION 12. Athletic Track : Both stadium has synthesized Athletics track. 13. Warming UP Area : The warming up area is outside the main stadium (At Balewadi) 14. Call Room : The call room area for athletes to report themselves before competition will be located by the side of main stadium. 15. Events : competition will be held in the events which are given in the athletics Manual of MHAA 16. Equipments a) b) c) d) e) f) g) : All the equipments to be used are approved by AFI/IAAF Shot put : 4kg,5kg & 6 kg vinex/nelco Discus : 1kg,1.5kg & 1.75kg vinex/nelco Hammer : 4 kg, 5kg & 6 kg Vinex/Nelco Hurdles : Vinex (Adjustable) Steeple Hurdles : Gill (Adjustable) Pole Vault : Pole Vault Landing Area : Pacer/Gill/Nelco Cross Bars : Nelco/Nordic 17. Participants i. Each Club/School/Team may enter two (2) competitors for each individual events besides Relay Races ii. iii. Each participating team may enter one (1) Team for each relay event. Each team shall consist of six(6) athletes Team composition and running order must be officially declared atleast one hour before the start of each round of the competition at the call room. An athlete who has taken part in the one round and has subsequently been substituted by another cannot form a part of the team again. 18. Final conformation: Official representatives of each team must submit final conformation of athletes entries to the organizing committee of the Pune Mayors Trophy 2015 during the managers meeting to be held on 26th December,2014. 19. Competition Rules and Regulations: a) The athletic competition shall be held in accordance with the current IAAF rules. In the case of disagreement over the interpretation of the rules, the English text shall prevail. Any un foreseen incidents not covered by the rules shall be resolved in accordance with the AFI constitutions and rules of IAAF. NOTE: if any athlete wants to use personal equipments he/she should submit the implement to the technical secretariat atleast one day before the competition for checking purpose. If approved such implements will be included in the general pool of implements and it would be for use by any other competitor who wants to use it. b) The successive height to which the bar to be raised in high jump and pole vault will be decided by the technical delegates at the manager’s meeting. 20. Protest : protest will be resolved in accordance with the IAAF rule 146. A deposit of Rs.500.00 should be accompany with each protest. 21. Dress: Competitors in the athletic competition must war the official colours of the team. Athletes must have bid nos In front of the vest s. Numbers must be pinned or fixed to the vest in all directions. 22. Commendation: Victory ceremonies will be held, if possible immediately after the completion of each event. Participants receiving awards must wear their official team uniform. We look forward to your co-operation and support in making the championship a grand success.
