Skill Combine Purpose (3): 1) personal baseline (improvement) & 2) personal goal setting (achievement), 3) team draft 3 S-R Fitness & Skill Tests Task Presentation Complete Steps 1 – 3 for each test: 1) Explain purpose of test, 2) Demo test w/ description and scoring procedures, 3) CFU on test protocol/scoring 15 S-R Fitness & Skill Tests Test Administration Divide class into partners, assign pair(s) to a station, complete test station, have students rotate from one station to next as they complete each station. They do not need to go in order, but do need to complete all stations in allotted time. During the combine, teachers should: 1) Monitor test performance for adherence to protocol, and 2) Spot-check recording of data and goals for accuracy and appropriateness. 50 Purpose/Objective SRF Station & Tips Shuttle Run - perform 1 non-scored practice trial (1 rep), provide space to sprint through end-line (i.e, don’t end against wall) Long Jump - perform 1 non-scored practice trial (1 rep), have spotter in position in case jumper slips backwards on landing T-Run - perform 1 non-scored practice trial (1 rep), provide space to sprint through end-line (i.e, don’t end against wall) Line Jumps - perform 1 non-scored practice trial (3-5 reps), remember to only run for 15 secs. Additional Notes Direct students to open stations to aid in efficiency of the lesson Monitor student movement from one station to next so that students are not walking through stations while others are performing the tests.
