In response to past student comments in the NSS the Department of Archaeology has: • purchased a traditional yurt which will provide an additional teaching space, allowing students to gain more practical experience and recreate experimental archaeological techniques more accurately • this experimental archaeology area on campus, ‘Learning in the Past’ means students can replicate ancient techniques of production • incorporated experimental activities into a number of modules, including V63355 (Ancient Metallurgy) The Department of Archaeology is listening… Finalists – Speak Up!
