‘Land Parcel’ Squares A maximum number of 300 ‘land parcel’ tickets will be available for purchase for the Harnett County Republican Party Cow Drop Fundraiser. Each ‘land parcel’ ticket costs $50.00; there is no limit on the number of squares an individual or family may purchase. Grid & Square Number Assignment The Cow Pie Bingo event will take place on the grass area beside Strickland’s Repair, LLC. Anticipating that all 300 ‘land parcel’ tickets will be sold, the grid-marked field will be 15 yards x 20 yards in size, each ‘land parcel’ square will be 1 square yard in size. The field grid will be clearly marked with all ‘land parcel’ squares being of equal shape and size. The ‘land parcel’ squares will be numbered sequentially. Assignment of grid numbers for all ‘land parcel’ ticket holders will drawn randomly and assigned to a parcel. First ticket drawn will be assigned parcel 1, 2nd ticket drawn will be assigned parcel 2, repeating till all tickets sold are assigned a parcel on July 18, 2015 prior to cow entering the field. The cow will be led onto field (grid-marked) at 10:00am on July 18 and remain on the field until the cow drops her pie. The cow can be removed for watering and feeding outside field if event takes longer than expected. Winner does not need to be present to win Cow Drop Prize. Event Judges will be announced before event on July 18th The ‘land parcel’ square that receives the first cow pie deposit will determine winner. If the cow pie lies in two or more parcels the parcel containing the most cow pie clams the prize. The event Judges can rule to split the prize money if the deposit is equally distributed in 2 or more spaces.
