Lisa Lathrop Memorial Scholarship
In memory of art teacher Lisa Lathrop, Arts For All is offering
a full-tuition scholarship. The Lisa Lathrop Memorial
Scholarship exists to acknowledge the zeal and enthusiasm she
shared for the visual arts and her many students throughout her
tenure at Arts For All. This scholarship is offered to
memorialize her dedication to seeing arts shared and cultivated
in others. All art lovers are encouraged to apply.
Lisa Lathrop passed away July 2015 after a brave and valiant
battle with cancer. She taught art at several AFA locations and
served as the Secretary of the Arts For All Board of Directors
for ten months. Lisa brought great passion to her work and
always brought a smile to our faces. Her enthusiasm for the
arts and our program was infectious.
Number of Available Scholarships: 3 per Academic Year
(1 scholarship per Arts For All semester: Fall, Winter/Spring, and Summer)
Scholarship Rules & Conditions:
Scholarship terms include: One (1) free visual arts class including art material and supply fees at
any Arts For All, Inc location. Each scholarship is redeemable for the semester in which the
scholarship is awarded. Scholarships are non-renewable. Scholarship usage limitations are once
per academic year. Scholarship winners consent to be acknowledged by Arts For All in
promotional materials (Press Releases, Newsletters, Social Media posts, etc) and to be
acknowledged and display artwork at Arts For All recitals.
Application Guidelines:
All applicants should complete the attached application form and essay. Applicants should also
submit an example of their artwork in addition to the application form and essay. Art submissions
should consist of high quality prints, color photocopies, or photographs of artwork. Two- and
three-dimensional work in any medium will be considered. Each submission should be labeled
with medium used and date of completion, and clearly labeled with applicant’s name, telephone
number and email address. Please do not send original artwork. Submissions will not be returned.

If you wish to submit your application electronically, art files should be in jpg format and named
using the following convention: “LastName_FirstName_artwork.jpg”. File sizes should be
limited to 2 MB.

Eligibility & Requirements:
• Anyone age 5+ is eligible to apply.
• Please make all submissions in accordance to scholarship guidelines.
• Scholarship recipients are eligible to re-apply once every 3 semesters (once per Academic
year).
