And, you need not be a member of the Association of Shelter Veterinarians to submit an abstract for review. Please share this call for abstracts with your colleagues.***
The ABVP Symposium will be held from November 12-15, 2015, in New Orleans, Louisiana. We look forward to sharing updates regarding exciting research within Shelter Medicine with conference attendees.

Research abstract submissions are due by 5pm ET on Monday, April 6, 2015

Abstracts must be directly relevant to care and management of animals in shelter

Four abstracts will be chosen, and each presenter will have approximately 20 minutes to present their material

All submissions must be made using the attached Abstract Submission Form, following the guidelines on the form. Completed forms should be e-mailed to drkathy@arkvet.org

Unfortunately, the conference CANNOT pay for registration, travel, lodging, meals, and there is no honorarium
Abstracts will be reviewed and selected by members of the ASV Continuing Education Committee based on relevance to shelter medicine practice. Selected presenters will be notified by the end of April 2015.
