IBM Ultrium LTO VOL-SER Label Order Guide Instructions
1. Customer:
Complete the entire section. If a specific delivery date is required include this date. If no
date is noted the order will ship 1 week from receipt of order.
2. Cartridge:
Indicate quantity ordered. Check the box for the appropriate cartridge. For WORM
cartridge indicate by marking the box LTO WORM and include the part number, if no part
number is included this will delay your order.
3. Label Type:
Select label that matches requested format, indicate horizontal or vertical orientation.
For RFID include part number, indicate label orientation and any special instructions.
Alphas Characters: Alpha characters require a background color; indicate color of
choice, alpha character is black.
Numeric Characters: Numeric characters are black on vibrant colors as shown.
Label Sequence: Indicate sequence from beginning to end. Sequence example for 100
labels; From: 12300 To: 12399. Each label includes a media identifier that matches the
cartridge format; LTO6 = L6, LTO5=L5 and so forth. Any mix of alpha and numeric
characters is allowed.
4. Cleaning Cartridge:
Indicate quantity ordered, label type and last two digits in label sequence. Media ID is
L1 for IBM drives.
5. Special Instructions
Use this area to indicate split ships, partial orders, special delivery instructions, other
label type, etc.
6. Delivery Information
Labeled orders ship approximately 1 week from receipt of order. Standard Ground
Routing Applies. For Air Route delivery the customer pays the difference between
Standard Ground Routing and Air Freight charges.
