The Judges decision is final.
The committee accept no responsibility whatsoever for loss, injury or damage to any
person or their property whilst on the Showground.
NO nomination or substitute entries will be accepted.
NO entry fee will be refunded.
The Committee reserves the right to amend the schedule and to refuse entries at their

This Show is a qualifier for the NCPA Pony of the Year Show, and the Part-Bred Welsh
Champs to be held at Uttoxeter Racecourse, Wood Lane, Uttoxeter, Staffs, on Sunday 9th
September 2012. First, second and third prizewinners in appropriate classes will qualify
and highest placed Part bred Welsh in the first 6 places not already qualified.

A rosette awarded to the highest placed Staffordshire Branch Member in every class,
gold armbands must be worn.
10 NCPA Star Rosettes will be awarded in classes 10, 23, 30, , and 52. Members must
enter the ring wearing a NCPA badge, and be in possession of their CURRENT YEAR’S
Membership Card
11 NCPA Registered Pony Rosettes will be awarded in classes 13, 25, 33, 47, 61, and 70.
It is a condition of entry that the pony’s NCPA registered number is quoted on the entry
form. Red armbands MUST be worn. .
12 Anyone found mistreating a horse or pony may be asked to leave the show
ground, and reported to the appropriate body.

This show is a qualifier for the Ponies UK Summer Championship Show:1st, 2nd & 3rd placed horses/ponies in each Ponies Association (UK) Summer National
Championship Qualifying class will qualify. Qualification will pass no lower than 3rd place.
Qualification is open to Members & Non-Members of Ponies Association (UK)
Once qualified if the owner is not a current “A” member, the rider/handler is not a current
“A” or Junior/Senior riders club member and/or the horse/pony is not currently registered
with Ponies Association (UK), then they have 14 days to submit their
memberships/registrations in order for the qualification to remain valid.
Qualifications will be verified by the show secretary when the results are sent into the
Ponies Association (UK) office.
Lee Smith Members receive a summer competition card
for each eligible currently registered Home Produced pony which must be signed by a
judge or steward in the ring; this applies to the highest placed Lee Smith Member.
Once owner, rider/handler, horse/pony are registered entries must be made on the official
Ponies Association (UK) Summer National Championship Entry Form. Once published
these can be obtained from the Ponies Association (UK) website or by sending an A5
SAE with large letter stamp to the Ponies Association (UK) office.
All entries must be sent into the Ponies Association (UK) office before the closing
date for entries.




Qualification for P (UK) Summer National Championships
1st 2nd and 3rd placed horses/ponies in all Summer National Championships will qualify for
the 2012
P (UK) Summer National Championships. Mixed height classes 1st, 2nd and 3rd qualify only.

Competitors in qualifying positions, who are not current members of P (UK) are allowed 14
days in which to become members and register their horses/ponies in order for the
qualification to remain valid. The exception being any competitor qualifying at a show
between 1st July and 31st July their membership must be submitted within 48 hours after the
qualifying event in order for the qualification to remain valid.

This show is affiliated to The Coloured Horse & Pony Society (UK). Both owner and
the rider/exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS (UK) nor must the horse or pony
be registered with CHAPS (UK) to compete.
The CHAPS (UK) Championship Show will be held on 30th August- 1st
September 1st 2012
Shows held on or after date of Championship Show will count as 2013
qualifiers. Members to apply in writing to CHAPS (UK) for appropriate qualifier
card.

First, second and third placed horses/ponies in eligible classes will qualify for the
Champion of Britain Title classes to be held at the Royal London Show in 2011. Each
qualified horse/pony will receive a qualification card in the ring which will enable the owner
to enter the Royal London Show, provided the owner and rider/handler are, or become
registered with the International Showing Society within 28 days of the qualifying show.

19 . This show is affiliated to the Shetland Pony Society :Classes must be confined to Registered Ponies. Ponies must be named on the
entry form and in the catalogue if one is produced. Society rosettes must only
be given to ponies registered with the Society or eligible for registration (i.e.
foals)
Three year old fillies with foals at foot may not be shown. All foals must be a
minimum of three weeks old on the day of the Show.
There must be no colts or entire males in Young Handlers classes. Children under
14 yrs old may no show colts (excluding foals) or entire males in In-hand classes.
Children under 11 yrs old on the day of the show may not show entire males in
ridden classes. In the interests of safety, hard hats must be worn by all handlers
aged 14 yrs or under in In-hand classes. Hard hats must be worn by all exhibitors,
irrespective of age, in ridden classes. In ridden Classes, if a rider falls off at any time
whilst in the ring, both pony and rider must leave the ring, rider dismounted, and
take no further part.

This Show is affiliated to the British Show Pony Society (“BSPS”) and ALL persons
entering, competing, showing or otherwise taking part in the BSPS Classes, whether or not
Members of the BSPS are subject to the Constitution and Rules of the BSPS including the
disciplinary procedures, and shall be deemed to have consented to the jurisdiction of the
BSPS.
This Show is a qualifier for the 2012 BSPS Championships show, to be held at Arena
U.K.. The 1st and 2nd prizewinners in the following classes15-17, 19,20, 26-29, 98, 103106 and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners in the Open Intermediate S.R.T. (including
Mixed height) W.H. and S.H.T. and C.S. and Heritage Classes will qualify, in MIXED
HEIGHT CLASSES the 1st. 2nd. 3rd. and 4th. placed ponies will qualify for the B.S.P.S.
Championships Show, provided the animal is registered in accordance with Rule 23 and
28 and ridden by a BSPS member.
This Show is a qualifier for the BSPS “Classis Security UK Ltd” Challenge, the highest
placed pony in the Lead Rein, First Ridden, Lead Rein of Hunter Type, Open Show Pony,
Open Show Hunter Pony, Cradle and Nursery Stakes, Open Working Hunter Pony, and
the Open Intermediate SRT, SH & WH, and the Heritage Open Lead Rein, First Ridden,
Ridden and WHP classes, that has not qualified for the BSPS 2012 Horse of the Year
Show in the appropriate class, will qualify.
If the highest placed pony has already qualified for the “BSPS CHALLENGE”, the
qualification will be awarded to the next eligible pony.
This Show is a qualifier for the BSPS Black Country Saddles Best Rider of the Year.
The Best Rider in the Open Lead Rein, First Ridden, Open Lead Rein of Hunter Type,
128cms., 138cms and 148cms Show Pony, the 122cms. 133cm., 143cms. and 153cms.
SHP, the Cradle and Nursery Stakes, the 133cm., 143cms. and 153cms. WHP., the
Intermediate Show Riding Type, Show Hunter and Working Hunter classes and the Open
Heritage Lead Rein, First Ridden, and to the best rider 25 years and under in the Heritage
Ridden and WHP classes will receive a Card and qualify for the final at the BSPS Summer
Championships Show.
This Show is a qualifier for the BSPS Champion of Champions, the Champion Mini Show
Pony, the Champion Mini WHP, the Champion Open Show Pony, the Champion Open
WHP / WH and the Champion Open SHP will qualify.
This Show is a qualifier for the “BSPS Premier League” the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th placed

ring and will re-enter individually for allocation of marks.

entry to the Showground that all persons will act on any instructions
given to them by the show committee, in so far that it can effect the
