This wonderful and generous donation flow has enabled a progressive and comprehensive conservation programme
for the Museum exhibits to be fully funded before the expenditure has been incurred.
The 2008&2009 programme envisages a Work on :
General work as needed to the collection of 1st editions. (Bodleian Library to help)
Treatment of lace work (connected with the Austen family and descendants)
Some stabilisation work to the stitching of the patchwork bed-coverlette
Restoration of Flax spinning wheel.
