Student Online Add Policy • Go to the LASC website: http://www.lasc.edu/index.html and register for the online class. If the class and the waitlist (if available) are full and you would like to ask the instructor to add the class: • Do not contact the instructor to add a class prior to the first day of the semester. • The instructor will contact students from the waitlist (at the beginning of the term) IF they decide to add additional students, so there is no need for students on the waitlist to attempt to contact the instructor. • On the first day of class, you have the option to send the instructor an email request to add the class (for those who are not on the waitlist). Be aware that instructors will draw from the waitlist first. It is highly unlikely that students will be added if you aren’t already on the waitlist. Look for alternative options for classes. • Instructors will only email those students who are able to add. If you do not receive a response to your email from the instructor, that means that the class is full and no additional requests to add will be accepted. There is no need to send multiple requests to add. Look for alternative options for classes. • Due to the volume of requests received, only those students whose adds are approved will be contacted. If you are not contacted, you will not be added. There is no need to continue to contact the instructor once you submit a request to add a closed class. There is no need to contact the instructor is your name is on the waitlist.
