Stephen Ministry Training in August – The Stephen Ministry program equips lay
persons the ability to provide Christian one-on-one care to those who are experiencing
all kinds of life needs and circumstances, both in our parish and community. This
training is a 50 hour training class that is spread out over a 20 week period for 2.5
hours each week. This is a great way to help others and feel good about your own
situation. If you are called to this ministry and/or would like more information, please

Rising 9th graders – Transitioning Retreat! Class of 2017! August 10-11th. Our
4th Annual 9th grade Transition Retreat will be held at Camp Gideon on Lake
Altoona! A group of teen leaders and adults are planning an awesome weekend to
help your teen prepare for this next stage of their life! Topics included pressures and
demands of High School, Moral Values, Communication and most
