Dear Parents and carers,
KS2 Christmas concert 2015
We are weeks away now from the annual KS2 Christmas concert. I for one am really looking forward to it. Rehearsals
are going very well and the children are incredibly enthusiastic about the songs we are singing this year.
Can I make it clear that there is an expectation that all children must attend the concert they are due to perform at.
We are working very hard this year and we expect the children to show commitment to coming along as part of the
bigger team of the KS2 Choir to perform for you. If for some reason your child cannot attend then you must let me know
by calling, writing or emailing.
We are in a position to offer every child 2 tickets altogether. We will give every parent 1 week to claim these tickets
before they are out on general release on Tuesday 1st December at 9am. These will be issued on a first come, first
served basis from the school office.
The performance times are:
Performance 1 – Monday 14th December 2015 at 7pm – 8pm in the Large Hall

Performance 2 – Tuesday 15th December 2015 at 7pm – 8pm in the Large Hall

If your child plays an instrument, they should attend the concert that their music group is playing i.e. this might mean that
they attend the concert that the other class from their year group are performing at but this doesn’t matter. What this
does mean is that you won’t be out two nights in a row! If your child is in multiple music groups, there is unfortunately a
chance your child will be needed for both nights. Due to this, you might want to attend both evenings and therefore we
will offer you 2 tickets per night.
