PEB Scholarship_Descriptions Information to students Name of Scholarship : Professional Engineers Board Scholarships Descriptions of PEB Scholarship : The Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Scholarships are awarded to students with outstanding academic performance and strong records of participation in co-curricular activities. Six scholarships (each valued at S$3,000 per year) will be awarded annually to first year and second year undergraduates in the Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering programmes. For undergraduates in their first year of study, three scholarships will be awarded, each tenable for one year. Another three scholarships for undergraduates in their second year of study will be tenable for three years of study, from the second to fourth year. Eligibility criteria : a. Full-time undergraduates matriculating in academic year 2006 – 2007, who have taken their GCE ‘A’ levels examinations in Singapore, or b. Full-time second year undergraduates with a minimum CAP (Cumulative Average Point) of 4.0 or outstanding poly graduates who have been streamed/admitted into any of the three disciplines, namely Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. c. Candidates must not concurrently hold any other scholarship. Application and shortlisting procedure : a. All applications should reach the Office of Undergraduate Program latest by 25 August 2006 (Friday). Incomplete and/ or late applications will not be considered. c. All sections of the form must be completed. If any section of the application form does not apply to you, please indicate ‘N.A..’. d. Supporting documents that are not in English must be accompanied by an English translation. The Faculty reserves the right not to award any scholarships if there are no candidates of sufficient merit. The decision of the selection committee is final.
