You are invited to celebrate Educator Appreciation Week at Barnes & Noble
Clearwater, 23654 U.S. Highway 19 North, from Saturday, Oct. 10 to Sunday, Oct. 18.
Educators, including teachers, principals, special ed/ELA, guidance counselors, school
administration/supervisors, media specialist/librarians, and home school parents with a
Barnes & Noble Educator Discount Card will receive a 25 percent discount for
purchases made for both the classroom and personal use. Educator Discount cards can be
obtained in the store by showing a photo ID and school ID/pay stub. The discount will be
immediately applied.
Two Educator Appreciation Week Receptions are scheduled on Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 3
pm and Thursday, Oct. 15 at 4:30 pm to discuss A Call to Action for Community
Service as featured in Chelsea Clinton’s new book It’s Your World: Get Informed, Get
Inspired & Get Going! We will let educators know about a contest sponsored by Ms.
Clinton to help fund proposed service projects.
A sneak preview of our upcoming Mini Maker Faire on Friday, Nov. 6 to Sunday, Nov. 8
will include a demonstration of the Da Vinci 3D printer. Refreshments will be served.
