DIVISIONS AND LEVELS: MEN’S AND LADIES DOUBLES
A, B, C Divisions
Tournament Director reserves the right to place the players in the appropriate division
ENTRY FEE: $100.00 per team. High School aged juniors $80.00 per team. Fee includes balls, cocktail party and exhibition on
Saturday. Please make check payable to: Vineyard Youth Tennis Scholarship Fund.
FORMAT: Doubles teams will play in their respective divisions a series of round robin matches. Each match will be a total of 57 games (depending on number of teams) with NO-AD scoring. Each team will play everyone in their group. In the event of two
groups within the same division, the top 2 scores in each group will play the opposing group to determine the champion of the
group. Tie break rules will be displayed at the tournament site.
AWARDS: Merchandise will be awarded to the champions and finalists of their division.
DEADLINE and STARTING TIMES: Entries close Monday, January 28th at 6:00 pm. Group starting times will be available
on Tuesday, January 29th after 5:00 pm. Players are responsible for knowing their start times. Please call (508) 693-7762 or
visit our website at www.vineyardyouthtennis.org to view your time. Group matches will begin on Wednesday, January 30th at 6
pm.
ADDITIONAL INFO & ACTIVITIES SCHEDULE:
-A 15 minute default rule will be in effect.
-All players must remain on the grounds during their round robin.
-All white clothing is strictly enforced.
-Each match will have a 5 minute warm up, unless both teams had previously played.
