2010 Membership Appreciation Awards
Award Categories
1. Green Speak
This award identifies an individual who has presented at any USGBC – Illinois Chapter
event. This award is for a presenter that has done an outstanding job engaging their
audience and someone you’d like to see present more often!
2. Green Hornet
This award commends the Most Active Individual in the USGBC – Illinois Chapter
community. This award is for a Chapter member that participates on multiple committees
or attends many events.
3. Agent Green
This award recognizes an individual who has truly been a USGBC – Illinois Chapter
ambassador. This award is for a Chapter member that has shared their message and
achieved great PR and recognition for the Chapter.
4. Green Mind
This award recognizes the Chapter’s biggest educational advocate. This award is for a
Chapter member who dedicates their time to educating and sharing their knowledge with
others.
5. Green Sprout
This award identifies an Emerging Professional who has gone above and beyond to
educate other students and young professionals about green building and the Chapter.
6. Green Visionary
This is our Innovation Award. It is for a Chapter member that deserves recognition for
their contributions to the Chapter, but does not necessarily fit into one of the above
categories.
Awards will be presented at the Member Appreciation Event later this year.
