The Bruce Hunter McIntosh Standards for Chapter Excellence Award is recognizes chapters who effectively use the Standards
for Chapter Excellence Program to continuously improve their fraternal experience. Applicants should be able to concisely
articulate how the chapter established goals, executed an identifiable plan, and measured the successes and/or failures of the
efforts.

Requirements:
In order to be considered for this award, chapters must meet the following minimum requirements:

Be in good standing with the General Fraternity and host institution.
Have an officially appointed High Pi
Must be at a zero balance with the General Fraternity as of April 30th
Not have been subjected to any disciplinary action by the General Fraternity or host
institution within the past 9 months.
5. Have had at least one (1) representative at the last General Assembly or Leadership
Seminar
6. Have achieved all Standards of Chapter Excellence
NOTE: Award applications should be for programs that occurred between June 1, 2014, and April
30, 2015.
If your chapter is selected as a winner, please be prepared to submit materials for display.
DEADLINE: All applications must be received by May 15, 2015.
Implementation and Application
To be a chapter among chapters, Zetas must effectively implement and utilize the Tactical Operations
Guides. Moreover, they are able to integrate officer goals and responsibilities with Standards for Chapter
Excellence. Using the Tri-Team System (management, involvement and education), describe the officer
responsibilities and the programs and activities that exist within your chapter that make your brotherhood
a chapter among chapters. Provide examples of how your chapter is able to utilize the Tactical Operations
Guides for each office and the Standards for Chapter Excellence to succeed in chapter management,
campus and chapter involvement and fraternity/collegiate education. Applications that are most able to
demonstrate their ability to execute at the Advanced/Exceptional stages will be among those considered
for this recognition.

The high station to which you have been raised involves great responsibilities. The interests, well-being, and development of
this chapter, and the guidance of each brother and associate member are now placed to a large degree in your hands. In order
that you may carry out the duties of your office to the best of your ability, consider carefully these rules of action:

ensuring they are performed in the proper manner. You are to inspire the brotherhood to delve into the teachings of our

Brother High Sigma, one of the principal objectives of Lambda Chi Alpha, as a co-curricular fraternity, is to develop in each
member a realization of his highest scholastic and intellectual potential.
