Attendance/Participation
Students must complete all assignments in order to pass the class.
COURSE CONTENT:
Emphasizes the development of content and relationship skills for effective
oral communications in the workplace. Topics include oral communication
skills, interpersonal communication skills, effective listening, and intercultural
communication.
ATTENDANCE:
Class attendance is required. There will be discussion, team projects,
exercises, and activities every day. Please call or email if you will be absent.
PARTICIPATION:
This is a communications class; therefore, all students are expected to
participate. Come prepared to focus on classroom activities. Students will be
given a daily participation grade
EXPECTATIONS:
Respect for others is expected. Please give your undivided attention when
others are speaking.
