GMM MEETING TOMORROW NIGHT. Have your made your reservation for tomorrow night’s General Membership
dinner, which also just happens to be our Pinnacle Awards night as well. The winners will be announced that evening, so
join us to congratulate the winners. (Please note that the meeting was scheduled for the first Tuesday in February instead
of the usual second Tuesday, so as not to conflict with those attending the NAHB Builders Show in Orlando.) Call the

LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER for the Building Diversification Seminar scheduled for this Thursday. This course will help
you assess the possibilities and to decide whether diversification is the right strategy for your company. Continuing Ed

HAVE YOU CHECKED YOUR MEMBERSHIP RECORD? Included in the February newsletter is a special page that
reminds you how to check your membership record on line and also address the question as to whether you want to
receive your monthly newsletter as you currently receive it (printed by regular mail) or electronically by email only. If you
do nothing, you will get the newsletter by email only. If you want it by regular mail, you must check that box in
your record. If you misplaced the personalized page that was mailed to you last month, call the BAHV office at 845-5676600 for your access code.
Watch for your ballot today for the BAHV Super Duper Tuesday elections from Rachel Neuhaus. The winners of the
BAHV Primary will be announced at tomorrow night’s general membership meeting. Remember, all voting is confidential.

On Friday, February 8, 2008 the Membership Committee is sponsoring the first Quarterly Membership Drive. We
need your help!
Please call the office, choose a time slot to come by and do some dialing and recruiting. Times are 8-10 a.m.; 10noon; 1-3:00 p.m. Leads will be provided. Language will be provided. Food and drink will be provided.
Remember, even one new member qualifies you to be in the annual drawing for valuable gifts including the grand
prize. (I went to the Caribbean).
We need you. Please contact the office and sign up for an hour or two. Thanks in advance!

2008 TRADE SHOW Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at Anthony’s Pier 9 in New Windsor. Exhibitor packages are
available for the limited number of booths that remain. Remember, this year we are asking each exhibitor to spotlight at
least one “green building” product or service as part of their display. If you are interested in exhibiting, or have the name of
a company you think should be exhibiting, contact the BAHV office and we’ll mail out a package. All booths are assigned
on a first-come, first-serve basis.
HABITAT BUILDER BLITZ 2008. Calling all BAHV members- Builders and Associates alike. The 2008 Home Builders
Blitz is just around the corner. NAHB and Habitat for Humanity are joining forces again in hopes of building hundreds of
homes across America for the working poor who currently live in desperate conditions. The construction will start June 2,
2008 and will be substantially completed by June 6, 2008. Committees are being formed. The next committee meeting is
Tuesday, February 19 at 1:00 p.m.
NEW DATE - HV BUILDPAC WINE TASTING, has been rescheduled for Friday evening, March 28 at the BAHV office in
New Windsor. This fundraiser benefiting the PAC (Political Action Committee) is limited to just 75 people and includes
food, wines, music and more. Cost is $70 for an individual, $130 for a couple. Contact Rachel Neuhaus at
Rachel@hvbuilder.com to add your name to the list of attendees.
