o Get Greek involvement for Bowl for Kids sake, teams formed for prizes, raise money,
bowl party to thank participants, get a team from every house, 5-6 members, $500 per
team, get involved, volunteers, goal $40,000, proceeds sponsor match, big or little
mentor program, 100 kids on wait list but not enough funding, please try to contribute,
sign-up sheet, information around
Allyson Kennard, IU Health Center ‘Celebrate Your Body’, akennard@indiana.edu:
o Kris and Allyson “Celebrate Your Body” day, challenge women of house to promote
body image, every February in the US have this program, take time to think about how
we criticize body “fat talk”, giving students chance to do things different~positive, write
positive message on cards, 80% dislike body, start culture where we don’t talk badly
about body, last year 7 sororities participate, 12 more sororities to get involved, Allyson
to be accessible and to talk about it, get women more involved, new members coming
to a meeting, 15% of house, open door to house, get commitment of 15% have CAPs to
houses (email email list to Allyson)

o half-page ads for new pledge class, support philanthropy coverage, special events for
advertisements
Marissa and Andy, Rec Sports, mszukala@indiana.edu:
o fitness/wellness division, circuit strength program/registration program, 7-week series,
30-min session, quick work-out, cap each session at 10 people, have 8 people to
participate have two spots “FREE” and work around chapter schedule, fun group activity

Pairing Process
Pairing yesterday, going over by-laws following rules:

The following rules apply to all fraternities and sororities in good standing with PHA and IFC.
All pairings are final.
3.
All appeals will be heard by the PHA and IFC Executive Boards.
4.
Monetary gunning is prohibited. Any chapter giving or receiving monetary gifts will be in
violation of this rule. Any attempts of monetary gunning must be reported to the respective
IFC/PHA officer within 48 hours of the incident to clear a receiving chapter from any
reprimands.







President’s Retreat this weekend, 4pm, tennis courts outside HPER on Friday
o Emergency contact sheet: email Annie, Team building activities, goal setting, bring
toiletries and blankets, sign-sheet for no alcohol

o Email time to meet before the retreat, talk about goals/weekend plans

applications/descriptions, communicate importance of position

twice a semester to touch base, how chapter is doing/goals, email times available

Grade reports: roster should be updated online, not spreadsheet, re-run report let her
know, calculate chapter GPA, reports for Feb. 1, send reports to adviser,
academic/chapter, grade confidential-hold those accountable, send email for updated
information sheet, graduated in Dec. still on roster, study abroad/student teaching does
not count

A lot going on this semester, service philanthropy program very beneficial/passionate
about service, IMPACT-life changing experience
