Have been involved in the application of
erosion and sedimentation control measures
for 2 construction projects:
Reconnection of X Creek tributary. Sediment
and erosion control measures including coir
mats and nurse crop seeding were applied to
by-pass channel where on-line pond is being
taken off line and channel is being restored to
historic conditions. Sediment laden water is
being pumped to a nearby field as needed.
Addition of rip rap to stabilize Granular A
surrounding a newly constructed culvert
during rain events for Project B.
The addition of a rip rap lined channel was
required, as the grade of the ditch did not
include any protection measures and was
quite steep and failed several times after
precipitation events near another culvert
within the project limits

the design of the work (e.g. from a bridge to
a culvert) or the compensation measures
(e.g. need to realign an additional 250m)
requires a full assessment and may result in
changes to the Authorization which may not
be able to be covered by a simple
amendment.
