Multimedia Specialist
Our River Cities Community Access Media Department is seeking a Multimedia Specialist to
assist in producing video programs for the Public Access television and YouTube channels, the
website, and other City departments. The Multimedia Specialist will also do social media posts
for Public Access Media on Facebook, Twitter, Google, and media blogs.
Other responsibilities include filming, reporting, producing, directing, and interviewing, using
professional video and audio equipment in the studio, or on location. Efficiently editing video
programs, using Adobe Premier, Adobe Encoder, Adobe Encore, I-Movie, or similar video
editing programs, is also required. Uses the latest social media skills to advance community
relations for Public Access Media and other City departments.
Requires an Associate Degree in video production, mass communications, journalism,
broadcasting, public relations, or related field. A Bachelor’s Degree in video production, mass
communications, or related degree, is preferred. Excellent knowledge of operating video and
audio equipment; good reporting and writing skills; and knowledge of all distribution platforms,
including Facebook, Twitter, and Internet are required.
Salary range for this full-time position is $37,472 - $42,401, with an excellent fringe benefit
package.
