SOAS Student Research Fund - Language Acquisition
(Arts and Humanities)
A small fund is available to help MPhil/PhD research students to acquire
language skills necessary for their research work. Priority will be given to
languages not taught at SOAS in the Faculty of Languages and Cultures. The
grant will cover tuition fees only. The Student Research Fund - Language
Acquisition may pay SOAS Language Centre directly, where students may be
instructed to go. Priority is given to those students whose admission forms
indicated a likely need for support.

Students who are successful in their application may either submit invoices or
receipts issued by institutions or individuals providing tuition or pay and
claim reimbursement.
