WATER JEOPARDY Compiled by Maia McGuire NE Florida Sea Grant Extension Agent 3125 Agricultural Center Dr. St. Augustine, FL 32092 904-824-4564 mpmcguire@mail.ifas.ufl.edu This game was designed for use following a Water and Watersheds powerpoint presentation (available for download from http://stjohns.ifas.ufl.edu/sea/SEAGRANT.htm). The presentation can be adapted for use in different formats (i.e. can be used with a game board if one is available, or can be projected onto a screen or wall, or can be used with an overhead projector). If you are going to project the game using a computer, you will want to scroll to the next page, then under View (in Word), select “Full Screen”. This will maximize the size of the image. The page is set up as a table with 25 individual text boxes which cover each of the cells on the table that contain the questions. To reveal a question, click on the number (which selects the text box), then click again on the edge of the text box. You can then use the delete button on the keyboard to remove the text box, revealing the question beneath. You can also right click on the text box and select “cut” from the options that will appear. If you wish to use this with an overhead projector, print out the third page and copy onto a transparent sheet. You can then use flaps of paper to cover each of the cells. Feel free to customize for your audience! If you use this game, please let me know how many people were in your audience/class and any feedback that you might receive. Thanks!
