CHIPOLA COLLEGE Enrollment Timeline for Fall Semester 2007 #1 - Application for Admission Submit an Application for Admission as soon as you decide to attend. You are encouraged to submit your application to the Admissions and Records Office before July 1. The deadline for applications for admission is August 2. Remember, the Application for Admission and the Application for Financial Aid are not the same. Receiving financial aid and/or a scholarship does not mean you are automatically admitted to Chipola; you must complete separate applications for admission and financial aid. You do not have to declare a major or program of study when you submit your application; however, it is important to work with a college counselor and make a decision about your major during your first two semesters at Chipola. If you are a high school dual enrolled student in a college class Spring Semester, 2007, you do not have to submit a new Application for Admission: however, you must submit a final high school transcript that indicates your official graduation date. #2 - Placement Testing If you plan to enroll as an academic or college credit student, you should take the ACT or SAT before the end of your senior year. If you have not taken the ACT or SAT in the last two years, you will need to take the College Placement Test (CPT) before you register for classes.
