Academic scores are ranked from highest to lowest in each pool of applicants. The first pool includes bona fide residents of Newfoundland & Labrador. The second pool includes applicants who are NOT bona fide residents of Newfoundland & Labrador. Ninety-six applicants are invited for an interview with approximately 2/3 coming from the Newfoundland and Labrador pool. Given the academically challenging nature of the program, students with an academic score of less than 70% are not eligible to be invited for an interview or be admitted to the program. Generally, the minimum academic score required for an interview for those in the Newfoundland and Labrador pool ranges from 74 % - 75%. Generally, the minimum academic score for applicants who are not bona fide residents of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, ranges from 80% - 82%. The actual minimum depends on the strength of the applicant pool - which varies from year to year. November 2015
