Seniors should be bringing home flyers about the alumni fish fry. Parents can post these at work, at
Krogers, etc. The money raised goes for scholarships for seniors at Stivers.
All scholarship materials and requests for transcripts for scholarships should be made three days prior to
the due date or postmark date.
Ohio Honors Scholarship (at Waynesville University in Pennsylvania)

The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity National High School Essay Contest

One scholarship worth $3,600 to be used at Central State University, Sinclair, Miami-Jacobs,

There are over 280 scholarships available ranging from $2,000 to $12,110.

Students do not need to demonstrate financial need.
Each applicant must be nominated by a member of the Ohio Legislature. Students should
complete the “legislative nomination form” and send it to either their Ohio Representative
or their Ohio Senator. The representatives and senators can be found by entering the student’s

One $2,000 scholarship will be given to a lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender (LGBT) student.
One $2,000 scholarship is for a straight student who is a “straight ally.”
The Greater Dayton LGBT Center will offer a $1,000 scholarship to a LGBT student.
