Mathematical Formula
In some cases Schedules to the Orders have been altered, whereby the formulae have
been retyped. When this happens ‘x’ gets used instead of a multiplication symbol and
“C” ends up on the same line as “NF”.
Professor Makepeace warned that this could lead to misinterpretation of the formula.
For example, the equation in paragraph 3 of Part 3 could be interpreted to read:
PP = C x NP
rather than PP  C 

So, just in case this has happened in your case, we have set out below the mathematical
formulae used in the model Schedule to the Order.
