Minimum of 15 hours must be taken at the 300-level or above, with 9 of these credits UMM course work. The concentration must also include at least one course that meets the Advanced Level Writing requirement of the University Core. Students must have a 2.0 cumulative GPA in the self-designed concentration to qualify for graduation. 3Number of free electives will vary according to the needs of the individual student. Free electives will bring the total number of credit hours to a minimum of 120. Students are also encouraged to use free electives to pursue appropriate minors or fulfill prerequisites for concentration courses. 4Students must fulfill UMM’s Residency Requirement: (1) 30 credits through UMM are required; (2) minimum of 12 credits through UMM required in the concentration; 9 of these credits must be at 300 level or above. Additionally, 40 credits must be at or above the 200-level.
