TCRHS FUTURE READY CORE GRADUATION CHECKLIST
Classes of 2016 and 2017
Buncombe County Schools students in graduating classes of 2016 and 2017 must complete the
NC Future Ready Core courses listed below in order to receive a high school diploma in NC.
In addition to completing the Future Ready Core Courses, each Buncombe County School student must successfully
complete the Graduation Project (part of English IV).
A minimum of 28 credits that includes 16 required courses and 1 concentration are required for graduation from
Buncombe County Schools.

II. CONCENTRATION: Select ONE Concentration Area.
ACADEMIC CONCENTRATION: Students can select an academic concentration with 2 courses beyond the courses required for
graduation.
