“So there’s, you know, chemicals, there’s manufacturing, there’s alternative energy. The
opportunities are endless. Any type of career you want you can find it, and there’s always people to

“The graduate programme at Shell is a three to five year programme and it rotates you through
different roles. So for me it was a great taster in the different areas you can work in finance. I started
in that skill pool. And I also had the opportunity to do an international assignment for a year.”

“So I spent a year in Calgary and I also had the opportunity to work in Manila for a month.”

“On the graduate programme my most significant achievement was working on a project that
received the SCFO award. Another thing that I really enjoyed was planning a new professionals
conference. That was a great opportunity to meet with the leadership at Shell and get to know
different parts of the business.”

“One of the best things about working at Shell is the Shell community. So Shell has a wide variety of
networks. It has Asian network, African American network, it has a women’s network, which helps
you form a community outside just the team you’re working in in the wider network within Shell.
And there are tons of events and speakers that Shell has internally and brings in externally for your
development.”
