Lincoln College & Career Center What is the College & Career Center? The College & Career Center coordinates and provides assistance with the planning and registration of college admissions, college entrance exams, careers, and financial aid for all grade levels. What types of assistance can one receive at the College & Career Center? Research of Colleges, Careers, Job/Internship Opportunities, and Support Programs Assistance with the College Admissions Process Registration & Information regarding College Entrance Exams (ACT/SAT) {Fee waivers available for students that qualify} Access to a Library of College Catalogs, CDs, & Videos Access and Assistance with Scholarship Applications Information, Explanation, and Assistance with Financial Aid Organize meetings, presentations, and/or tablings from College Representatives One-on-One Advising with students and parents Six computers available for students to research college information, to complete applications and test registration Resume Assistance How do students find out about to the College & Career Center? Students, Parents, and the local Community can find information regarding the College & Career Center: via the College Center Webpage on the Lincoln Website, Daily Bulletins, Flyers, Classroom Presentations, Advisory Announcements, PTSA Meetings, School Administrators, Teachers, and Counselors. When is the College & Career Center Open? It is Open M-F 9:00am- 5:00pm. Students can Drop-In during lunchtime or after school in Room 53 (Basement Level), but are strongly encouraged to make an appointment to meet with one of the college counselors. College counselors require permission of the teacher if the appointment will be occurring during class time and it is preferable that the class students are missing be an elective or student aide, not a subject based class.
