Over the years, Mr. Merelos has worked as a Professional Photographer in his own business,
IT and Color Dept. Manager for professional graphics service doing digital large format color
inkjet printing and scanning “print for pay”. Also doubled as technician and trainer for Mac /
PC shop. Color Printing Specialist Laser / LED copier systems, as well as doing marketing and
training on these type of devices, He has also freelanced for Ad Agencies and other graphic
professionals over the past 23 years. On site training for companies (groups) and individuals is
a specialty. A member of the College of Du Page Speakers Bureau + Member of NAPP
( National Association of Photoshop Professionals-1999-2008 )
In regard to training experience;
George was a full time employee at CompUSA Naperville. He first began
as a part time instructor January 1999 and just months later he was asked to run
the department in Naperville as well as instruct. George naturally demonstrates
the same classroom techniques utilized in the creation of Performance-Based
Training at both his full time and at his part time jobs.
He also has been an instructor for the College of Du Page (since January
1989). An instructor in the “Continuing Education Department”. He started in
photography and since 1997 has facilitated computer related classes such as
JavaScript / html, Intro to Desktop Publishing, and PC repair. For over the
last 10 years, specializing in Adobe PhotoShop as well as working on Adobe
Creative Suite CS5.
George’s classes are relaxed and humor-filled, able to make a variety of
users feel at home and comfortable. He is able to accomplish all of this by
maintaining a professional yet easy to understand approach to software,
computer and graphic instruction.
In addition to technical (PC repair and upgrade) George brings
experience in software training skills summarized below, always searching for
new challenges and prepared to deliver excellence each day.
