Rebecca Gerson: received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Youngstown State University in 1989 and her Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve Law School in 1992. Since 1994 Rebecca has been an Assistant Mahoning County Prosecutor for both the Civil and Criminal Divisions. Rebecca is also in private practice focusing on Trade Mark, Corporate and Construction Law. She is a part-time Instructor with the Youngstown State University Ohio Peace Officer’s Training Academy and was a Co-Author and Instructor of a pilot program for the 2003-2004 Police Officer’s CLE Program. Rebecca holds licenses in The Supreme Court of the United States, United States Tax Court, United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, United States District Court of the Northern District of Ohio and The Supreme Court of Ohio. Rebecca is also a Certified Instructor for the Ohio Peace Officer Basic Training Program. Rebecca is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association (member of the Federal Taxation, Law Libraries and Media Law Committees) and the Mahoning County Bar Association (member of the Campaign Ethics and Public Relations Committees). Rebecca is currently a Board Member of the Case Western Reserve University of Law Alumni Association, Butler Institute of American Art, D & E Counseling Center and has chaired various committees for the Junior League of Youngstown. Rebecca has been honored with the MVP Top 5 Honoree, 40 Under 40 Awards 2006 and the Honoree for 40 Under 40 2005. Rebecca has published articles in the OSBA “Law You Can Use” {available on official OSBA website www.ohiobar.org}.
