Complete your Intent to Graduate Form, Major Sheet (signed by advisor) and Minor Sheet (singed by advisor) two semesters prior to expected graduation Must have at least 120 hours to graduate 30 of those must be at ETSU Entire last semester (12 hrs) must be completed at ETSU. Must have 50 hours of 120 from a senior institution, i.e. 4 year university or college All students must demonstrate computer proficiency. This can be done by either successfully completing CSCI 1100 (Using Information Technology) or by passing a UIT proficiency exam. Developmental courses do not count towards the graduation hours or GPA. Developmental Studies courses do not count toward completed graduation hours or graduation gpa. For graduation purposes use Total Institution, Total Transfer and Overall summary lines not “combined” summary lines. Bachelor of Arts, Science, and Social Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences all have separate course requirements for the degrees. They are all listed in the undergraduate catalog. Many majors and degree programs require students to take specific courses to fulfill general education requirements. Students should consult the catalog and their advisors regarding specific general education requirements applicable to their majors and degree programs. Some departments give major field tests, those departments change annually. If required, your department will notify you of the test and dates available. All undergraduates must take the senior exit exam before graduation. You will receive an e-mail notification about the exam when you complete 96 credit hours. You should take the exam as soon after that as possible.
