CALL FOR PAPERS FOR CUTTINGTON UNIVERSITY JOURNAL OF LIBERAL

The editorial committe is proud to initiate the call for papers for the first number of
Cuttington University JLACC, the Journal of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences.
Contributions are welcome in the form of research papers, book reviews, case studies and
news in the fields.
Authors should send an e-mail expressing their interest to mar.cuttington@gmail.com and
they will be sent the editorial policy together with the guidelines for authors.
Deadline for contributions will be on 31st January, 2014.
CONTRIBUTORS’ GUIDE:
1.- Contributions should not have been previously published or accepted for publication
anywhere else.
2.- Types of texts accepted:
- Articles: c. 8000 words
- Symposium proceedings
- Case studies: c. 3000 words
- Book reviews: 1000 – 3000 words
- Research reports: unlimited length
- News: 1000—2000 words
3.- Format: contributions should be sent in electronic format to the e-mail address
mar.cuttington@gmail.com
- The subject line of e-mail message should be “Contribution to JLASS”
- The body of the message should include the title and abstract (c. 200 w)
- Both MLA and APA style will be accepted (latest version).
- Font and font size of texts should be Times New Roman, 12 points; double
spacing
- Footnotes are accepted and there will be works cited at the end of the article
4.- No copyright infringement is allowed. Editorial committee shall not be deemed
responsible for such, and authors warrant that their work is not an infringement of an
existing copyright. All possible liability remains with author.
5.- The copyright of the original article shall still be the Journal’s, except otherwise
expressly agreed upon.
6.- Responsibility for content of articles: although articles will be read by the editorial
committee (and eventually peer-reviewed), their point of view and the responsibility for
their content remain the authors’.
