CWIT is offering a total of 3 continuing education scholarships to current CWIT members. There are two scholarship options—applicants must select the scholarship to which they are applying:
Option 1:
Customer Broker Exam Prep Course is an intensive review of the Customs Federal Regulation and
Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States.
Participants receive a participant manual and will learn the fundamental principles that have been tested by CBP on past broker exams. In addition, the instructor will review with the participants how to effectively study for the exam to help them pass the exam. In this class the following topics will be covered and are topics that have been highly tested on past exams:

Tariff Classification

Valuation


Entry and Entry Merchandise
Customs Broker Compliance

Special Trade Programs

Country of Origin Marking

Fines and Penalties
Total cost: $795
Scholarship Amount: $700
Scholarship Recipient Responsible for: $95
If selected as a CWIT scholarship recipient, I agree to attend the all of course sessions, beginning
09/01/2015 Saturdays only.
Option 2:
The Global Logistics & Transportation Professional
Training Program is designed to provide practical knowledge and training in the many diverse areas of global logistics and transportation.
Four modules, or knowledge domains, will lead you through your training. Each one offers five classes, concluding with an exam. The training modules include:
•Arranging the Move
•The Port of Charleston
•Moving the Goods
•Support Activities & Shippers
The non-credit sessions are held on Monday evenings starting at 7:00 p.m. at the College of Charleston
School of Business.
Total cost: $895
Scholarship Amount: $800
Scholarship Recipient Responsible for: $95
If selected as a CWIT scholarship recipient, I agree
to attend all of the course beginning 08/31/2015.
