All rules of conduct must be obeyed. Students who fail to
comply with the rules and regulations of Belleville High School will
be excluded and no credit will be granted. Tuition fees of any student
excluded for disciplinary reasons will not be refunded.
The following rules will be strictly enforced:
- No drugs or alcohol are permitted on school grounds at any
time.
- No smoking on school grounds. This includes the building,
sidewalks and parking lots that surround the building.
(Public law 1989, Chapter 96)
- Beepers and cell phones are not permitted.
- Fighting will result in immediate dismissal.
- The use of foul language will not be tolerated.
- The BHS dress code will be strictly enforced.
Attendance for summer school courses is mandatory.
There are NO EXCUSED absences. If there is more than one
(1) absence per semester, the student will not be granted credit.
Tuition and registration fee reimbursement will not be granted for
expulsion due to excessive student absences. Family vacations, doctor
appointments, and other commitments should not be planned during
summer school.
Lateness to class will count toward a student’s attendance
record. Three “lates” will be counted as one absence. If you are more
than ten minutes late to class, it will be counted as one absence.
Tuition must be paid in full at registration. Credit Card, Cash, or
a Money Order payable to: Essex Regional Educational Services
Commission. No personal checks will be accepted.

Registration Information
All courses listed will be held contingent upon sufficient enrollment. The
Commission reserves the right to cancel courses. Students will be enrolled on a
first come first serve basis until classes are full. Registration forms will be
available in the Counseling Office and Main Office at Belleville High School.
ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE MADE IN PERSON.
Your registration is complete when:
- Your high school principal and guidance counselor has
signed the form. (Mandatory for all courses)
- A money order made payable to: Essex
Regional Educational Services Commission is
received with the completed registration form.
- The registration form is completely filled out and
signed by the sending schools principal and a parent or
guardian.
- You must have a letter from your Guidance Counselor
- indicating the necessary classes.
