Box 160111, Orlando, FL 32816-0111 ATTN: Jessica Mays, Assistant Director. ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES MUST: Have a minimum cumulative 3.5 college GPA by the April 15, 2016 scholarship application deadline. Earn an Associate in Arts degree from a Florida public community college or state college by August 22, 2016. Articulated and non-articulated AS earned/expected degrees are not eligible. Transfer directly to UCF from your Florida public community college or state college. Initiate full-time enrollment at UCF beginning fall 2016. (Summer and spring applicants will not be considered.) Eligible candidates do not include first time in college students, state university transfers and/or current UCF students. AWARD: $2,000 to $4,000 ($500 to $1,000 each fall and spring semester for 4 undergraduate semesters) toward tuition and fees – continuous enrollment and a minimum of 12 UCF semester hours earned each fall and spring required for payment. Transient credit hours and hours earned during the summer do not count toward this requirement. Scholarship award letter will contain the specific GPA requirement needed for award renewal. The award must begin fall 2016. This award cannot be deferred to a later semester, you must maintain continuous enrollment at UCF and this award cannot be used for a summer semester.
