Saxion International Mobility Scholarship
Dear students,
The International Office of Saxion University has offered our School of Creative Technology
the possibility to apply for SIMS scholarships. These scholarships are meant for EU students
that go abroad (outside the EU/EEC) for study, work placement or final assignment during the
period of 1 September 2011- 31 January 2012.
The SIMS scholarship will reimburse half of an (Economy class) flight ticket up to a
maximum of Euro 500
General conditions for application:
- You need to be registered at Saxion as a fulltime student for 2011-2012 in the regular
study programme
- You hold an EU passport.
- You need to go abroad (outside the EU / EEC) for study, work placement or final
assignment for a minimum period of 3 months within the time frame 1 September
2011- 31 January 2012.
- Your study, work placement or final assignment has to be approved by Saxion
- You do not get compensated for the international travelling expenses by the company
where you are going to do your work placement or final assignment.
- You need to prove your travelling expenses with the original invoice.
- Deadline of application 31 August 2011
The School of Creative Technology will nominate students for the SIMS Scholarship on 1
September 2011.
Students of ACT can send the application form including a motivation letter, a copy of their
passport and a copy of the original airline ticket invoice to Ms E.S.Heijing@saxion.nl
