Trudel Page |8 Leo L. Trudel P.O. Box 267 Fort Kent Mills, Maine 04744 (207) 834-7567 leo.trudel@maine.edu Dean Berenson, It is exciting to submit this resume for the Faculty Program Director/Adjunct Faculty Positions we discussed at the IACBE annual conference. As I mentioned, I am certified by IACBE to develop self-studies and conduct site visits. For the past ten years I have been teaching full time at the University of Maine at Fort Kent. Approximately half of the courses I taught were online with the remainder being face-to-face. I have engaged in a number of interesting educational developments. I have designed and developed a Blackboard supplement for a text book, edited several textbooks used in online classes, and worked with several text book companies to implement their latest online innovations. I have designed and implemented an online accounting program which entails overseeing adjunct faculty and acting as a liaison between operations and campus IT. In my own courses I have introduced various hardware technologies into the classroom and integrated outside professionals into the courses through the use of audio and video technology. As the Accounting Program Coordinator I work closely with several committees to assist in implementing a new strategic management plan with a primary goal of increasing enrollments. I have also been certified by the University of Maryland in their online education program known as Quality Matters. This program is a process used to assess peer reviewed online college courses using rubrics to guide the implementation and design. I look forward to an opportunity to discuss how my experience and skills can contribute to Excelsior College. Until then, thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, Leo L. Trudel Leo L.
