April 16 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Tour of Humanity Workshop- the touring bus comes to schools to teach about human rights issues – including those who seek to end inequality, genocide, and strive for peace. Students lean through Canadian and international history and use 21st century technology in order to learn April 22 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Community Clean-up with Lunch- to honour Earth Day we will have students do a community and school property clean-up – including weeding our native species garden. Students will rece4ive a free lunch and community hours. 4 – 7 p.m. Open House – PAS North will host a parent’s open house night to meet with teachers, learn about programs, and discuss their child’s learning and future pathway opportunities. April 24 11:30 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. Cultural Unity Festival – food from around the world will be available during lunch hour for students and staff to sample. Students will attend a talent show in the afternoon showcasing songs and dancing from different cultural backgrounds.
