The normal structure and functions of the organs of respiration are identified
and described.
Range

The protective mechanisms of the respiratory system are described in terms of
their function.

mucous, cilia, epiglottis, cartilage, alveolar macrophages, cough
reflex.

described in relation to the maintenance of homeostasis.
