It is quicker to come to Surgery and be treated here if you have a minor injury, rather than
waiting a long time to be seen in A & E! It is to your advantage - and it will save NHS funds - if
you are treated here, rather than the hospital as they charge us for each patient who is seen in
A & E with a minor injury.
Minor injuries such as burns & scalds, sprains & strains, bumps & bruises,
bites & stings, cuts & grazes, etc.
Please ring the Surgery first and we will either advise that you go to hospital or we will ask you to
come here straight away to be seen by one of our doctors or nurses who are all qualified to treat
minor injuries.
