Three weeks prior to the lesson word walls will be displayed in the classrooms Day 1 – Classroom Lesson 1. Distribute the Pre-Lesson surveys to the students 2. Distribute the Study Skills Pamphlets 3. Distribute the Bingo Chart and explain 4. Show the “Did you know video” and ask for comments/reactions 5. Begin Study Skills discussion/lecture (use powerpoint) Day 2 –Computer Lab 1. Give students an introduction to the Bridges.com web site 2. While in the lab students will complete “The important thing” sheet as an exit ticket activity 3. Students will be given the writing prompt and will be required to complete it for homework or as class work during the following class period.
