Clinical Analyst, Johns Hopkins Dept of PM&R (October 2007 to present)
Provide informatics oversight for optimal use of multiple EHR systems.
Project management for the design, build, and optimization of analytics reporting
systems. Envision and support innovative collaboration and initiatives to meet
the changing demands of health care in a hospital setting, such as the need for
coordination of care, reduction in unwarranted readmissions, and bundled care
across the continuum.
Director Residency/Fellowship Program and Clinical Education, Johns Hopkins Dept. of
PM&R (October 2007 to present)
Direct innovative initiatives for clinical education for staff and trainees.
Collaborate closely with local universities to complement our program, which is
unaffiliated with allied health university.
Oversee residency directors in the creation and management of programs, which
include physical therapy: Neurology, Acute Care, Pediatrics residencies;
occupational therapy: mental health residency; and speech language pathology
clinical fellowship.
Direct clinical coordinators (CCCEs), and provide clinical instruction through a
structured experience closely integrated with coursework. Clinical Education for
student affiliations include over 50 students per year for OT, PT, SLP disciplines.
Direct other clinical education programming including innovative approaches
such as the Research Development Program, which is 14 hours of live and
online training by clinician scientists on applied evidence based practice,
research, and quality improvement for clinicians.
System Administrator of MediLinks (October 2005 to present)
Responsible for project management, implementation, budget, and maintenance
of the MediLinks application for documentation and billing functions. System is
department-wide for OT, PT, and SLP operations in outpatient, inpatient, and
acute rehabilitation areas. Due to complexity of inbound and outbound
interfaces, close working relationship with Johns Hopkins information systems
