We accept patients from Melbourn, Meldreth, Shepreth, Fowlmere,
Thriplow, Foxton, Barrington, Orwell, Whaddon, Kneesworth and
Royston.
You will need to complete a registration form and a health questionnaire which will provide useful information whilst we wait for your medical records to arrive from your previous doctor. Please also complete a
‘Sharing of Information’ form which allows you to make choices about how your health records are shared. You can complete the forms at the practice or via our website link.
Appointments can be made by visiting the surgery, calling on 01763
260220 and choosing option 2, or booking online. You may see any doctor of your choice but we encourage you to remain with the same doctor for a particular issue. Appointments are available during morning and afternoon surgeries, Monday-Friday (depending on availability).
The current appointment system in operation is:
Routine appointments – these can be booked up to six weeks in advance and are available for both morning and afternoon surgeries.
On-the-day appointments – can be booked on the day for routine matters. Please ring at 8.30am to book and if appointments are available you will be given a time to attend during the morning or afternoon surgery.
Urgent appointments – these are booked on the day for matters considered urgent and appointments are allocated at the duty doctor’s discretion.
Evening surgeries (extended hours) – this surgery offers routine appointments that will be available on Wednesday evenings.
Appointments are intended for patients who have difficulty attending during normal surgery hours and can be booked in advance.

(i.e. driving licence, passport or student card) and proof of address (i.e. utility bill, credit card statement - this must be dated within the last 3months).This will allow you to view and cancel all appointments, and to book GP appointments online.
I f you are unable to keep an appointment please let reception know as soon as is possible so that your appointment can be offered to another patient.
If you are housebound due to a clinical reason a doctor can visit you at home. Please contact the surgery before 11.00, if possible, to inform us that you will need a visit.
