Instructional Content for Blount County Schools The primary sources of instructional objectives for the Blount County School System are the various Courses of Study of the State of Alabama. These documents guide all instructional content, grades K – 12. They are utilized throughout the instructional process: lesson planning, implementation, presentation, and evaluation. Goals for All Students 1) To achieve the State’s challenging student performance and content standards 2) To create lifelong learners 3) To have access to technology as in integral part of the curriculum to more fully facilitate achievement of competency over challenging subject matter. Report Cards Report cards are issued following the conclusion of each nine-week grading period.
